OLD NEWS
Progress in the research for Human+.
I refined the sub-themes of the exhibition to the following:
AUTHORING EVOLUTION: Genetics, Biohacking and BioFutures
AUGMENTED ABILITIES: Cognitive Diversity and Prosthetic Futures
EXTENDED ECOLOGIES: Survival and Habitat
NON HUMAN ENCOUNTERS: Co-Evolution with Robots and Non Humans
LIFE AT THE EDGES: Birth and Death
And in other good news - my design pitch was chosen, so I'll be busy with the exhibition design
as well for the next couple of months.

I'm currently in Dublin working for the Science Gallery as the researcher for their upcoming exhibition Human+. What can we expect for the future of our species? I'm exploring what it means to be human, considering this question through a number lenses; zooming in, out and across the complex messy systems that govern our existence.
Some themes to be covered:
1. Human+ Biological Futures (genetics, eugenics, bioethics, etc)
2. Human+ Augmentation (prosthetics, robotics, AI, etc - “we have always been cyborgs”)
3. Human+ CoEvolution (“Humans are not really individuals; they’re communities of organisms”)
4. Human+ Social/Cultural Futures (emerging/new aspirations, needs, rituals, desires)
5. Human+ Habitat (how can we adapt to survive changing ecosystems?)
