EVERYTHING IS UNDER CONTROL

"[This exhibition] explores the wide field of predictability and uncertainty, the instability and relative balances of systems and the processes which unfold in them."
Susanne Jaschko and Lucas Evers, curators.
A light beam moves over the soil in a seemingly random fashion. Over time the machine will encourage grass to grow in a predetermined pattern, eventually revealing a message. How readable the message will be however is uncertain. This ongoing process is a silent dialogue between natural emergence and mechanical control.
Everything Is Under Control is a prototype, built during an interactivos workshop for the exhibition 'Process As Paradigm' at LABoral. Designed in collaboration with Tommaso Lanza. Developed with Daniel Artamendi and Raquel Gallego de Lorenzo.
